Help! My skin is a mess and I need products safe to use while pregnant.
Would everything from Eminence be safe to use while pregnant or breastfeeding? I'm recovering from major bad acne. I have red marks and scars on one side of my face where my acne used to be. I also have a lot of sun spots. I know I sound like a mess! All this has happened to me in the last 3 years. As I got older (now 32), I've had many issues with aging. It's very upsetting to me because I used to be very attractive and now my self esteem has just gone down. So if you know of any products that will help safely I would love to hear what you have to say. Thanks for listening.

Hi Kim,
I was in your exact position when I was pregnant with my son. I had beautiful skin and then all of a sudden, cystic acne on both sides of my face, hyperpigmentation due to the pregnancy and did not look my "30yrs" at all. I used everything and when I was finally introduced to Eminence, the results were amazing. I used Garlic and Tomato Masque and Hungarian Herbal Mud as my treatment.
It sounds rather odd but the thought behind it is Garlic is nature's penicillin, the tomato is full of Vitamin E and Lycopene for fast healing of red, irritated skin. The Lycopene is also amazing for hyperpigmentation, but let's deal with one issue at a time.
The Hungarian Herbal Mud is a cinnamon ball for your face! It contains Paprika, Cinnamon, Sulfur, and Thermal Spring water. This combination draws oxygen into the skin, killing bacteria and the sulfur draws out the impurities while softening and conditioning the skin. This masque will get HOT! This is totally normal. You are "heating" the skin to kill bacteria, bring in new blood, help to plump and firm sagging skin, and give you a rosy glow that will help with the anti-aging process. I would do this combination 3 times a week for the first week, 2 times for the next 3 weeks and then once a week for maintenance.
The products are not only totally safe while you are pregnant, but they will also "feed your skin" giving it what it needs as the baby takes what it needs from you. It's amazing how much those little guys do to us!
If you would like a good facials regime that will help the issues you described, here is a good protocol:
Use morning and night
Use morning and night and when you feel overly oily or "shiny"
Use 2 times a week by itself or mix it with your cleanser for a 2-in-1 exfoliation
Use 3 times a week after exfoliation with the Strawberry Rhubarb Dermafoliant for the first week, then 2 times a week for the next 3 weeks.
Use morning and night after the Rosehip Tonique or treatment to keep breakouts down and condition the skin to prevent further breakouts. It will NOT dry the skin so it's amazing!
Use morning and night. This is a GREAT vitamin C moisturizer that also acts like an anti-bacterial moisturizer for acne prone skin.

Your skin will change YET AGAIN after your pregnancy and I now have very nice skin (I'm 37 now) and am on an anti-aging, hyperpigmentation routine with Eminence.
